The holidays are coming at us quick! Only a week left until Thanksgiving! One week and one day until Black Friday! A little over a month until Christmas! Where oh where has the year gone?! Have you started your holiday shopping yet???

It’s safe to say that we’re all holding our purse strings a little tighter this year around…but it doesn’t mean that the holiday cheer and holiday spirit has to toned down in the least bit! There are plenty of great gift ideas for reasonable prices that are sure to make your loved ones  happy!

What’s HOT?
1. Twilight saga, New Moon, ANYTHING – this is almost a hit or miss, either you LOVE the series or you HATE it, but regardless, it’s HOT! From the books to soundtracks to cardboard cut outs and Team Edward/Team Jacob Undies…it’s safe to say somewhere someone has it for sale. This is THE biggest anticipated movie to hit theaters this year and will definitely be under the tree for many!

2. Super Mario Bros for the Wii – who doesn’t love this classic game? They’ve finally come out with Super Mario Bros for the Wii! What a great family game for the holidays…it plays up to 4 players.

3. Up on Blu Ray - Disney Pixar does it again, another animated movie that will make you laugh & cry. It’s not just a favorite for children, but for adults as well.

4. Playstation 3 – it’s been out for a while, but the prices have just dropped from $399 to $299! The new price also comes with a better package: Built in Blu Ray player, slimmer console and more power efficient….also with the newest system update, there’s Facebook! Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is this seasons hottest new game for it.

5. Glee - Fox’s newest prime time comedy television sensation…it’s all the buzz. Who doesn’t want the underdog to shine?

6. Smart Phones – whether it’s the AT&T iPhone 3G or Verizon’s newest Google operating system based phone, the DROID or even the less fancy, but more business oriented, Crackberry (aka Blackberry) smart phones are the latest rage. It’s like having a mini computer in the palm of your hands. It has all the essentials for the everyday life: Facebook, check. Twitter, check. Google Talk, Check!

7.  E-Book Readers – Amazon’s Kindle or Barnes & Noble’s Nook (set to release on November 30th), e-book readers are the latest gadget craze. Can’t decide which book you want to bring along with you to read? Now you don’t have to carry 2 or 3 possibilities, you can download all the books you like and have as many options as you’d like in one single device. Start your digital library now!

8. Flip HD Camcorders – This mini camcorders are great for capturing the perfect YouTube moment because they are small and easily transportable, you can carry them along with you anywhere! They also have a built in USB, so you don’t need all the extraneous wires, just plug the camera into your computer and upload to YouTube!

9. Netbooks – This new line of light weight mini computers are a great bang for your buck. If you’re looking for a cost-efficient laptop for travel, surfing the net and checking email, this is the way to go. Don’t be fooled though, net books are not designed to replace your laptop or desktop!

10. Apple, anything! – Ok, maybe I’m a little bias as a mac user, but let’s be honest, the sleek design and innovative technology is a winner for anyone. Perhaps, things may be a little over priced, but with the constant software and hardware updates, they are top of the line products. Whether it is a replacement for your current desktop, the 27″ iMac, or a more transportable Macbook, with a 7-hour battery life or the iPod Touch or even the iPod Shuffle, there is something for everyone…and that’s HOT.
