I saw this item on the Engadget blog yesterday.

It’s a $159 wifi enabled scale. Yes, a SCALE. I love gadgets, and new technology, but I’m not quite sure if I can justify spending $159 on a scale. Supposedly, this thing has an iPhone app, and it uploads all of your data onto its website, so that you can see, for yourself, how well you’re doing.

Call me crazy, but I’m thinking about getting me one of these things. Definitely not the first time that I’ve bought a stupid over-$100 gadget, but I think this one might be one of my worst impulse gadget buys.
